Ashaka Cement announce resignation of 7 directors, appoints 4 new ones

ASHAKA CEMENT PLC: Resignation and Appointment of Directors – Ashaka Cement Plc notified The Nigerian Stock Exchange that the following directors have resigned their appointments from the Board of the company with effect from 10 March 2015:

1. Umaru Kwairanga – Chairman
2. John William Stull – Vice Chairman
3. Muhammed A. Muhammed, OFR
4. Kolawole Babalola Jamodu, CFR
5. Abubakar Ali Gombe
6. Lamido Abba Tukur
7. Hamra Imam

The Board has appointed Mallam Suleiman Yahyah, OON as the Board Chairman with effect from 12 March 2015. They also appointed the following as Non-Executive Directors of the Company with effect from 12 March 2015:

1. Anders Kristiansson
2. Edith Onwuchekwa (Mrs)
3. Rabiu Abdullahi Umar
