Lafarge Wapco released its 2014 half year results showing revenues rose 12% to N55.3billion (2013 H1: N49.8billion). Operating expenses however rose 35% to N4.7billion compared to N3.5billion posted a year earlier. Pre-tax profits at the end of the period was N17.7billion compared to N13.8billion posted a year earlier. This increase was a 29% jump and beat the 13% jump recorded between 2012 and 2013. The double digit increase in revenues has now been reported in the first and second quarter of 2014.
