A few years ago before I started Ugometrics Blog, I realised Nigeria lacked a quality blog dedicated to helping people manage their personal finances better. I also noticed a lot of the business news websites and blogs available at the time lacked insightful analytics and independent opinion about stocks, treasury bills and several products available for an independent investor to invest in. The mission became to use my knowledge and experience in personal finance, accounting and corporate finance to promote the culture of sound and informed investing amongst Retail Investors. I believed to achieve financial freedom a Retail Investor will first need to know how to manage their personal finance, understand the basics of investing, learn how to use information around us to make sound investment decisions, and stick to an investment metric that works just for you .
Nairametrics, is a wider platform to achieve the goal so outlined. Here, we aim to bring the best of quality financial articles, analysis and opinions from a meticulously selected group of professionals. Our desire is to partner with many intelligent and well informed financial analysts (“content partners”) available in Nigeria and abroad. They will bring in their unique knowledge of personal finance and sound investing to the discourse. Our Content Partners (“CP”) will contribute instructive and insightful articles on personal finance, investing, macroeconomic analysis and small business tools.
