The Nigerian Stock Exchange has released its latest Foreign Portfolio Investments data for the period ending March 2013. The data shows a total Foreign portfolio inflow for March of N555.13billion and outflow of N75.4billion. On a Year to date basis (YTD) a total of N127.41billion has been received as foreign portfolio investment whilst N229.09billion was total foreign portfolio outflow. This presents a net portfolio outflow of N101.68billion. Off course these amounts are translated in Naira but would have been transacted in their respective currencies.

A total of N191billion in domestic transaction was recorded in the Nigerian stock Exchange. As such about 65% of the market transactions was foreign and 35% local. Download Data ==> NSE Domestic and FPI Report March 2014
