The Vanguard Newspapers reports a new movie “Dr Bello” is set to be screnned in US cinemas between February 22 to 27 2013. The movie which cost N150million is said to be the first in Nigerian History to debut on US Cinemas according to its writer and director Mr Tony Abulu. “The second largest American” movie chain in the US with “over 5000 screens” will show movie.
The movie stars?Isaiah Washington, Vivica Fox, Jimmy Jean-Luis and Nigerian superstars Genevieve Nnaji and Stephanie Okereke.?The film will open at AMC theatres in New York, New Jersey Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, Dallas, Miami and Jacksonville.
Movies of this nature are termed “Budget Movies” in the US. However, that does not affect the quality and viewing pleasure of the movies as budget movies have proven to often do better than expensive ones.
