Follow Us on Google DiscoverSometime last year I wrote a blog post about my experience in the US after racking up phone bills due to roaming charges. It was shocking back then because I had erroneously thought that roaming only affected calls. So, whilst not making calls I ended up racking up data charges for accessing emails and browsing with my phone.
BBC recently decided to tackle this issue on their BBC World Service program ‘Your Money”. I was interviewed along side a representative of MTN Nigeria who tried to defended why roaming charges were very high. The interview can be found here===>> Roaming Mobile Phone Charges?. Fast forward to the 33rd minute to listen in to my segment of the program.
