I have always been fascinated about e-payment solutions as a means of paying for goods services. So, it pleases me to see that the value of ATM transactions in Nigeria has more than double from its N390b value in 2008 to over N950b in 2010. See below;

If we use the 75% rise from 2009 to 2010 then 2011 may just top N1.6tr in value of ATM transactions. I believe e-payment solutions is good for any country’s national development and so must be embraced a lot more. The above also indicates there is a lot more room for development in the Mobile pay business as transaction value is just N6.7b. With the Cash-less policy of the CBN this may quadruple in the next couple of years.
