As Christmas approaches, the transport fare to travel from Lagos to the South-East part of the country goes up as passengers flock to the parks to travel to their hometowns in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu or Imo.
The Federal Government has listed five transport firms, including GIG Motors, Chisco Transport, Young Shall Grow, God Bless Ezenwata, and Area Motor, for the implementation of the 50 percent reduction in interstate transport fares between December 21, 2023, and January 4, 2024.
