The top 30 companies listed on the NSE have lost a total of N1.13 trillion in market capitalization year to date.
The most traded stocks by volume were GUARANTY (46.15 million units), FBNH (35.34 million units), and DANGSUGAR (26.81 million units).
The market breadth at the Nigerian Stock market ended negative as NIGERINS led 13 Gainers as against 35 Losers topped by FIDSON.
With 50 losers to 14 gainers, sectoral indices closed mostly negative, as the NSE Insurance Index led the decliners with 6.70%.
The All Share Index advanced today by 0.11%. Year-to-date return and market capitalization settled at 0.17%, and N21.09 trillion respectively.
The local bourse recorded 40 losers against 6 gainers to begin trading on the negative route.
