Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has dismissed claims that his dominance in cement and petroleum amounts to a monopoly, insisting that the Nigerian economy needs more players with the scale and resources to compete. 
Nigeria’s Dangote refinery has exported its first shipment of petrol (gasoline) to the United States, marking a major milestone for the 650,000-barrel-per-day facility. 
Aliko Dangote, President and Chief Executive of Dangote Group, has disclosed that the conglomerate acquired a  total of 10,000 trucks, comprising 4,000 CNG fuel tankers and 6,000 dry cargo trucks for transporting coal and other solid commodities across its operations.
