Lagos State needs to invest money into enforcing traffic regulations. LASTMA seem to turn a blind eye to traffic obstructions perpetrated by Danfo drivers and other irate drivers. This is the cause of the traffic! Address this! Cameras should be used to catch traffic offenders.
Lagos Traffic reduction is a herculean that must be done. The solution is lack of political will by the present government to hit the nail on the head.
All the central business district (CBD) like Lagos Island, Victoria Island and Lekki should be reached through BRT buses with full air conditioned, enforcement of congestion charges on any car owners that want to drive to this locations with his or her cars.
Light train should be created for the CBDs areas and Water Transportation system should be made efficient so that there is competitions between the three means of transportation in the state.
With the above put in place, Lagos will become one of the best place to leave in the world.
