Courteville Business Solutions Plc has notified the shareholders, stakeholders, The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and the general public of changes made to the composition of its board of directors.
In the notice, Courteville announced the appointment of Oladimeji Sanni as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
Sanni’s industry experience cuts across Management Consulting, Financial Services, Power and Oil & Gas. Sanni was the Chief Executive Officer of Viathan Engineering Limited and was also the Commercial/Business Development Manager in the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) of Nigeria. He has also worked in Accenture Consulting as a Manager and Fidelity Bank Plc as the Business Development Manager.
The newly-appointed Director obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University and a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Aberdeen Business School.
Sanni, according to Courteville, is well versed in delivering strategic and articulated business initiatives to grow market share and ensure top quality organisational performance.
The company also appointed Sanni as a member of its Risk Management Committee, and Corporate Governance & Remuneration.
Meanwhile, Courteville Business Solutions also announced the resignation of Helen Emore as a Director. In a letter dated November 13, 2018, Emore resigned from her position as a Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Courteville Business Solutions Plc had released its financial statements for the period ended September 30, 2018.
The results show the company recorded a drop in revenue of N886 million for the nine months period in 2018 as against N1 billion in the corresponding period in 2017. Profit before tax, however, increased to 122 million, compared to N62 million in 2017. Profit after tax also increased to N98 million, compared to 43 million in 2017.
Courteville shares closed at N0.20 during trading sessions on the floor of the NSE.
