AXA Mansard Insurance Plc has announced changes in its board and management.
The insurer made this known in a disclosure to the Nigerian Exchange dated January 17th, 2022, and signed by Omowunmi Mabel Adewusi, the company secretary.
The development follows the resignation of Kuldeep Kaushik, a Non-Executive Director of the company who resigned from the board from November 2021.
In accordance with Section 274 of the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020, the company said it has appointed Thomas Hude and Latifa Said as Non-Executive Director of the company while Abiola Bada appointed as the Independent Non-Executive Director
Also, Oyedoyin Awoyinfa was made Chief Compliance Officer.

Thomas has over 10 years’ experience in corporate & business strategy, Personal & Commercial Lines, Finance as well as Investor Relations. He also has extensive experience in Life, Savings and Health Insurance businesses and is currently the Deputy Strategy Development Officer of AXA Africa. He is currently the Head of P&C Risk Management at AXA International New Market.
Latifa is currently responsible for overseeing the Human Resources for AXA entities in Africa and has over 18 years’ experience in Human Resources.
Abiola is a Chartered Accountant and has work experience spanning 35 years in the professional services, financial sector, and regulatory environment in the areas of auditing, inspection, organization & methods, marketing, and general administration.
Oyedoyin is versed in legal, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, client services and secretarial services and has over 14 years of experience in legal advisory and company secretariat functions such as handling effective management of contractual risks, ensuring compliance with the Nigerian/international regulatory requirements, handling dispute resolutions, and implementing statutory policies that align with corporate/labour laws in Nigeria and internationally.
