This was disclosed in a statement on the EFCC’s verified Facebook page on Thursday. The report showed that Lagos zonal command had the highest number of convictions of 481 while Makurdi zonal command had the least with 22 convictions.
The commission said the figure was realised after a review of its performance for 2021. The Lagos figure is followed by Ibadan command with 324 convictions and Port Harcourt Zonal command with 230 convictions.
What the EFCC is saying

The commission noted that the record of the 2021 conviction, which is a 127.5% increase over the last highest record of 2019, represents a 98.49% success rate in prosecution, as only 34 cases were lost by the commission in 2021.
