Facebook has launched its Ray-Ban smart glasses, going on sale for $299. The glasses will let users take photos and record videos by voice commands or by pressing a button. They’re called Ray-Ban Stories. The glasses can be found anywhere Ray-Bans are sold.
Facebook said in a blog post “From daily activities like riding your bike to special milestones like your favorite music festival, Ray-Ban Stories’ dual integrated 5MP cameras let you capture life’s spontaneous moments as they happen from a unique first-person perspective. “
They also have small speakers that turn the smart glasses into headphones for listening to music and podcasts via Bluetooth from the smartphone they’re paired with. And they include microphones, so you can talk on the phone through them.

The Ray-Ban Stories works with the new Facebook View app so that users can share their views, stories and memories seamlessly with their social media followers
“The Facebook View app on iOS and Android makes it easy to import, edit, and share content captured on the smart glasses to apps on your phone: Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and more,” the company added
The smart glasses are available in 20 variations, and five colours with a range of lenses including clear, sun, transition, and prescription, to fit the user’s style
