The Bantu Network Utility Token (XBN) will be listed on Bittrex Global Exchange on Tuesday, 27 July 2021, as some Institutional partners prepare to launch their solutions built on the Bantu Blockchain Infrastructure.

Earlier this month, a peer-to-peer exchange – Timbuktu – became the first platform to support the buying and selling of the XBN utility token, albeit in a non-custodial P2P manner. Bittrex Global is set to make the token more readily available to its users.

As there was no presale or ICO for the Bantu Blockchain project, the tokens will be generally available via exchange listings, community airdrops, development partnerships and grants.

Several Enterprises are currently finalising projects which are leveraging the Bantu Blockchain technology stack, and for which the native utility token (XBN) will be needed to process network transactions. Some of these Institutional Partners include but are not limited to:

  • Sterling Bank – This innovative and full service national commercial bank has an ongoing project that will bring liquidity into the Bantu Blockchain ecosystem as it changes the way certain financial instruments are acquired digitally.
  • Interstellar – A pan-African Enterprise Blockchain Infrastructure company. Interstellar powers critical blockchain infrastructure for digital payments and financial institutions in Africa. It is currently working on major African blockchain projects with companies and organisations like Interswitch Group, the Central Bank of Nigeria, Sterling Bank, StarVolt and SystemSpecs.
  • SystemSpecs – The Foremost Provider of Innovative Payment and Human Capital Management Solutions and Services.
  • Convexity – CHATS, a product of Convexity, is geared towards aiding the transparent distribution of conditional and unconditional voucher cash assistance or aid to vulnerable communities and families via Blockchain token and Cryptocurrencies.

The Bantu Blockchain Foundation has also released a token creator tool that makes it easy and intuitive for everyone to be able to create digital tokens on the Bantu blockchain with just a few clicks.

In the words of Ernest Mbenkum – CEO of the Bantu Blockchain Foundation, “There is a lot of liquidity in Africa and other emerging economies that is waiting to be unlocked. We know that this can easily be done by leveraging blockchain technology.

While many business ideas are available and viable, the talent pool required to execute them with blockchain technology is still in limited supply. We are committed to creating user-friendly tools and services that will allow great ideas to thrive without being limited by the scarcity of blockchain engineering talent.”
