Mr Sulaimon Adedokun, on Friday, resumed as the new Chairman of the Trans-Nationwide Express (TRANEX) Plc. His resumption follows the resignation of Dr. Oladiran Fawibe, whose tenure came to a close on Thursday, July 16.
In a notice sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the board of Directors acknowledged and appreciated Oladiran for his leadership to the Trans-Nationwide Express Plc, and wished him best in his future endeavors.
Adedokun holds degrees in Accounting, and Banking and Finance. He is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), the Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.
He is a CFA Chartered Holder, a seasoned accountant, and an astute investment banker with experience spanning across various sectors of the capital market. He is also an authorised dealing clerk on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

He joined the TRANEX Board of Directors in July 2018 and is currently the managing director of Meristem Wealth Management Limited.
Backstory
On Wednesday 27 May 2020, Dr. Oladiran Fawibe had sent a resignation notice to the board of director.
His letter stated that he would fully vacate the office of the Chairman on July 16, after staying 15 years on the board of directors, and leading the board as Chairman for half of the period.
