The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the discovery of eleven new cases of Coronavirus infections in Lagos State.
According to the latest update as of 11 pm on Tuesday April 14th 2020, Nigeria has recorded 373 confirmed cases of the deadly virus. Two hundred and fourteen (214) of those are in Lagos which has remained the epicenter in Nigeria.

In the meantime, the death toll is still at eleven, but could rise in the coming days as new cases get discovered on a daily. Meanwhile, ninety nine people have so far from their infections.
Officials in Lagos are currently faced with three major problems — the rising Coronavirus cases, the economic challenges wrought by the lockdown in the state, and the insecurity/violence which is sweeping through most parts of Lagos mainland.
