President Muhammadu Buhari will be addressing the nation on Monday, April 13, 2020, at 7 pm. This was contained in a tweet post from the Presidency handle.

The tweet message says, ”President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation on Monday, April 13, 2020, at 7 pm”

”Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of NTA news and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast”.

The President’s speech in his broadcast is expected to focus mainly on the coronavirus pandemic and its effect on the socio economic life in the country. He is also expected to address the country on the extension or otherwise of the lockdown and restrictions in some states,

The president had in March 29, 2020, announced a lockdown and restriction in Lagos, Ogun States and the FCT/
