Alexander Goma has resigned from PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc as an Executive Director. The company confirmed this in a notification sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
Goma’s resignation is to take effect from Monday, 30th September 2019.
Why Goma resigned from his position: Alexander Goma reportedly made the decision to leave to enable him to pursue other personal endeavours.
A look into Alexander Goma: Goma is an experienced business leader with over 20 years of experience in building people, customers and brands from P&G, British American Tobacco and Guinness.
Goma served as the Managing Director of PZ Cussons Consumer SBU from September 2016. He also served as a Corporate Strategy and External Affairs Director in the company.
He holds a degree in Biochemistry from University of Port Harcourt (1989) and a Law degree from the University of London (2016). He is a faculty member of AGDC, an enterprise set of to prepare college graduates for employment or running their own company.

Goma started his career at Procter & Gamble in 1998 where he played the roles of Unit Sales Manager (North), District Manager and later Customer Service and Logistics Projects Manager of the company.
He then joined British American Tobacco where he held various positions of increasing responsibility within the organization from 2003 till 2007 until he was employed at Guinness Nigeria Plc as Sales Director in 2007.
