Top Gainers and Losers: Corner Stone Insurance Plc was the best performing stock today. The stock gained 10% to close at N0.22. AIICO Insurance Plc gained 7.69% to close at N0.70. LASACO Assurance Plc gained 6.90% to close at N0.31. Vitafoam Plc gained 4.52% to close at N3.70. Conoil Plc rounds off the top five gainers for today. The stock gained 2% to close at N20.40.

On the flip side, Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Plc was the worst performing stock, declining by 9.09% to close at N0.30. Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc fell by 8.70% to close at N0.21. Courteville Business Solutions Plc fell by 8.33% to close at N0.22. Chams Plc fell by 7.14% to close at N0.26. Total Nigeria Plc rounds off the top five losers for the day. The stock shed 7.14% to close at N130.
Top Trades by Volume: Wapic Insurance Plc was the most actively traded stock today. 42 million shares valued at N16.8 million were traded in 14 deals. United Bank for Africa Plc was next with 24.2 million shares valued at N141 million traded in 311 deals, followed by Guaranty Trust Bank Plc with 16 million shares valued at N478 million traded in 252 deals.
