The board and management of 11 Plc, formerly Mobil Oil Nigeria Plc, have notified the Nigerian Stock Exchange of the appointment of a new Company Secretary in the person of Mr. Olumayowa C. Meseko.

In a letter dated 20th June 2019 and signed by the Managing Director Mr Adetunji A. Oyebanji, the company announced that Mr Meseko will also serve as 11 Plc’s Deputy Legal Adviser.

Meseko’s appointment took effect from 14th June, 2019. He took over from Messrs. Danladi, Adams & Co. who “shall cease to act as the Company Secretary of 11 Plc with immediate effect.”

The newly appointed Company Secretary brings on board a wealth of experience as a senior corporate commercial solicitor with extensive knowledge of manufacturing, real estate, and services.

About Olumayowa C. Meseko: He is the immediate past Group Legal/Compliance Officer at Vitafoam Nigeria Plc and Company Secretary to Vono Foam Limited, where he anchored legal related issues and a series of administrative functions. One of the major projects he spearheaded was the merger and acquisition of Vono Products Plc by Vitafoam Nigeria Plc.

Meseko had a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) from the University of Ilorin in 2004 and graduated from the Nigerian law school in 2006. He holds a Master’s of Law degree from the University of Lagos. He is a member of a couple of professional bodies including Chartered Institute of Administrators, UK, The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and the Nigerian Bar Association.

He began his career as a Legal Research Officer in the chambers of Shittu Ademola Bello & Co in 2004. Between 2005 and 2006, he was the Country Development Consultant/Customer Service Executive at Travelex Money Transfer, Nigeria.

Meseko was Legal Officer at the Department of Petroleum Resources from 2006 to 2007. He became an associate at Hermon (Solicitors & Advocates) formerly Osinbajo, Kukoyi & Adokpaye (Barristers and Solicitors) before becoming he was appointed Group Company Secretary/Legal Adviser (Head Corporate & Legal Affairs Department) at Allied Computers Limited in August 2009.

Before his last appointment at Vitafoam, Mr Meseko was a consultant at The LawResource Consorts.
