Guaranty Trust Bank has released its results for the first quarter ended in March 2019. Here are the key highlights of the results.
Gross EarningsÂ
Gross earnings for the period grew by 1.2% to ₦110.3billion from ₦109.0billion posted in March 2018.
Profit before tax
Profit before tax increased from N52.6 billion in 2018 to N56.9 billion in 2019. This amounts to a 8.1% year on year increase.
Profit after tax
Profit after tax rose from N44.6 billion in 2018 to N49.3 billion in 2019. This amounts to a 9.5% increase year on year.
Earnings Per ShareÂ
Earnings per share increased from N1.58 in 2018 to N1.74 in 2019. This amounts to a 10.1% increase year on year.
