Investors lose N713 billion in Nigerian Stock Exchange, Bargain hunting in stock market

The Nigerian Stock Exchange closed in the red today. The All Share Index ended today’s trading session at  30,829.45 basis points, down 0.67%. Year to date, the index is down 1.24%

Top Gainers and Losers

Union Diagnostic and Clinical Plc was the best performing stock today. The stock gained 10% to close at N0.33. Cutix Plc was next appreciating by 9.73% to close at N2.03. Medview Airline Plc rounds up the top three gainers for the day, adding 5.88% to close at N1.80.

On the flip side, NEM Insurance Plc was the worst performing stock today. The stock declined by 5.53% to close at N2.22. Stanbic Bank Plc fell by 5.15% to close at N46.00. Flour Mills on Nigeria Plc rounds up the top three losers for today, shedding 5.01% to close at N18.00.

Sterling Bank Plc was the most actively traded stock today. 25 million shares valued at N58.7 million were traded in 71 deals. Access Bank Plc was next with 16.1 million shares, valued at N218 million traded in 183 deals. FCMB Plc rounds the top three most actively traded stocks today. 7.4 million shares, valued at N14.4 million were traded in 80 deals.
