Diamond Bank was the best performing stock today. The stock gained 10% to close at N2.31. Downstream operator, Total also gained 10% to close at N214.50. Caverton Helicopters rounds up the top three gainers for today with a 9.91% gain to close at N2.33
On the flip side, Consolidated Hallmark Insurance was the worst performing stock today. The stock shed 7.88% to close at N0.35. NPF Microfinance shed 7.59% to close at N1.46. PZ Cussons Nigeria rounds up the top three losers today with a 4.64% decline to close at N11.30.

May and Baker lists new shares
745,234,886 additional ordinary shares of May & Baker Plc (May & Baker) were listed on the Daily Official List of The Nigerian Stock Exchange. The additional shares listed arose following the conclusion of its rights issue, which was 76.04% subscribed.
The total issued and fully paid up shares of May & Baker has now increased from 980,000,000 to 1,725,234,886 ordinary shares.

UAC of Nigeria Plc yesterday announced there was a fire incidence at UAC House its corporate head office yesterday. The fire which started on the 10th floor was successfully contained.
