The Nigerian Stock Exchange closed today’s trading session on a positive note. The All Share Index closed at 30,874.17 basis points up 0.86%. Year to date, the index, however, remains in the red, down 19.27%.

FCMB Group was the best performing stock today. The stock closed at N1.45, up 9.85%. Investors may have decided to take position following the bumper Q3 2018 results.
11 Plc (formerly known as Mobil Oil Nigeria) was next with a 9.38% gain, closing at N175. NAHCO Aviance rounds up the top three gainers, appreciating by 8.11% to close at N3.60.
On the flip side, CAP Plc was the worst performing stock today. The stock shed 9.87% to close at N31.50. Niger Insurance was next with a 8.33% decline, closing at N0.22. Custodian rounds up the top three losers for today, declining by 7.55% to close at N4.90.

Cutix Plc released its results for the second quarter ended October 2018. Revenue increased minutely from N2.72 billion in 2017 to N2.78 billion in 2018. Profit before tax dipped from N373 million in 2017 to N344 million in 2018. Profit after tax also dropped from N242 million in 2017 to N224 million in 2018.
