Diamond Bank Plc has released its financial result for the quarter ended 30 September 2018
Here are the key highlights of the results:
Revenue
Gross earnings for the group dropped from ₦143 billion in 2017 to ₦142 billion in 2018. This represents a 0.77% drop year on year.
Profit Before Tax
Profit Before Tax also fell from ₦4.7 billion in 2017 to ₦3.08 billion in 2018. This represents a 35.4% reduction year on year.
Profit After Tax
Profit After Tax also dipped from ₦3.9 billion in 2017 to ₦1.6 billion in 2018. This represents a 57.6% shrink year on year.
Earnings Per Share
The Earnings Per Share also dropped sharply from ₦17 in 2017 to ₦7 in 2018. This represents a 58.8% increase year on year.
