Mr. Emeka Oparah, the Vice President, Corporate Communications/CSR Director Airtel, during the inaugural webinar of TheNewsGuru.com themed ‘Digital Media Gurus Speak: How to monetize online media opportunities online’, said that brands all over the world are willing to invest and partner with credible, industrious and libel free media.
Oparah went further to say that brands tend to look out for what they stand to benefit from any investment both in the short and long run.
“Brands look out for credible, libel free media to partner with. You must be creative and industrious to get business engagements with these brands. No business operator will place advert or do other forms of business with a medium that is enmeshed in controversies.”
He noted that ignorance is the factor barring many from tapping into the various opportunities freely available online. In order to get adverts, partnerships or sponsorships from an organization, Oparah advised that a medium must dig deep into the activities of said organization
A few months back, Mr. Emeka Oparah had his 15th anniversary of working with Nigeria’s major telecommunications company Airtel Nigeria. This can only be accorded to his dedication and commitment to the cause.
