Ride sharing app Uber has gone into partnership with Germaine Auto, a car sale and maintenance company. Under the partnership, Uber Nigeria drivers can carry out maintenance on their cars at a fixed price. The company had recently gone into partnership with myautogenius an insurance portal as well as Axa Mansard insurance.

Due to the number of cars operating Uber, the ride sharing app may have secured a discount for their cars. Uber drivers would have access to world-class maintenance services, at a reasonable price. This is important as Uber cars are subject to thorough inspections before and during operations. The car owners are also sure of genuine parts and labour since Germaine is a world-class firm
