President Buhari will on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 travel to the United Kingdom to participate in the international Anti-Corruption Summit which will be held in the British capital on Thursday, May 12, 2016.
According to the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, Buhari will play a prominent part in the summit which will be hosted by Prime Minister David Cameron of Great Britain with many other Heads of State and Government in attendance.
Whilst this is one trip we expect Buhari to make considering his anti corruption mantra, the President has kept on with his record of traveling every month since he got elected. The President has now traveled for 12 straight consecutive month visiting over 20 countries within this period. If this isn’t a record in Nigerian then it has to be a personal best for the president. It will be unlikely betting against him not to beat this record in his second year in office.
