The menacing fuel scarcity of the past few weeks and epileptic power shortage has forced University of Lagos Akoka to shut down in order to avoid student protest.
Whether other higher institutions will follow the path of the UNILAG isn’t known yet but a source who spoke to Nairametrics said the hardship caused by lack of fuel and electricity may cripple the economy and lead to a recession.
