This Car Brand Has Just  Endorsed Home-Made Vehicles In Nigeria

Nissan Motors Nigeria, has advised the Federal Government to support home made vehicles to encourage local manufacturers and reduce forex pressures on its exchange rate.

In 2013, A conglomerate Stallion Group (Renault-Nissan and West African Alliance) signed a preliminary agreement to start assembling vehicles in Nigeria thereby potentially creating a major Nissan manufacturing hub for Africa. The plant’s annual capacity was expanded to 45,000 units to assemble a range of cars, light duty trucks, pickups and vans.

A Nigerian home based vehicle brand, Innoson Motors was seen trending in social media outlets some weeks back due to its surprise endorsement by the Senate President.Dr Olubukola Saraki and a few other senators.

The Head of Corporate Communications, Nissan Group of Africa, Mrs. Nthabiseng Motsepe, said the country only need to instill good auto policy to make the vehicle market more appealing to Nigerians.

According to Motsepe, the company has put in a lot of investment and will continue to improve the service to satisfy its customers.

She hinted that Nissan as an organization invested a lot of money in Nigeria and as such, the company has come to stay.
Plans are on top gear by Nissan to unveil various notable Nigerians as its brand ambassador.
