[Nigerian Stocks] First Working Day Ends In “RED”

The Nigerian Stock Exchange(NSE), closed the first working day of the new year on a negative, as the All Share Index dipped by 0.99% to close at 28,359.02.

A total of 12 stocks were on the gainers chart, while 18 stocks dropped in value.

Here are the top 10 gainers and losers for the day

LEARN AFRICA opened at N0.71 and closed at N0.77 gaining 8.45%.

VONO opened at N0.81 and closed at N0.85 gaining 4.94%.

OKOMUOIL opened at N30.30 and closed at N31.78 gaining 4.88%.

TRANSEXPR opened at N1.13 and closed at N1.18 gaining 4.42%.

AIICO opened at N0.91 and closed at N0.95 gaining 4.4%.

CCNN opened at N9.35 and closed at N9.66 gaining 3.32%.

UCAP opened at N1.31 and closed at N1.35 gaining 3.05%.

NIGERINS opened at N0.50 and closed at N0.51 gaining 2.00%.

ZENITHBANK opened at N14.05 and closed at N14.30 gaining 1.78%.

OANDO opened at N5.90  and closed at N6.00 gaining 1.69%.

LOSERS

SKYEBANK opened at N1.58 and closed at N1.50 losing 5.06%

NB opened at N136.00 and closed at N136.00 and closed at N129.20 losing 5.00%.

GLAXOSMITH opened at N34.20 and closed at N32.49 losing 5%.

TRANSCOHOT opened at N5.80 and closed at N5.51 losing 5%.

ETERNA opened at N2.05 and closed at N1.95 losing 4.88%.

FBNH opened at N5.13 and closed at N4.88 losing 4.87%.

NAHCO opened at N3.78 and closed at N3.61 losing 4.50%.

CHAMPION opened at N3.37 and closed at N3.22 losing 4.45%

TIGERBRANDS opened at N1.13 and closed at N1.08 losing 4.42%.

ASHAKACEM opened at N25 and closed at N24 losing 4.00%
