Governor Adams Oshiomole of Edo State, has presented a 2016 budget proposal of N111.5 billion to the State House of Assembly, which he tagged “A Budget Of Finishing Well”.
Acoording to the Comrade Governor, the 2016 budget proposal is 12.6 per cent lower than 2015 budget, which was revised downward to N127.01 billion.
Oshiomole said the focal point of this budget would be the completion of roads and rehabilitation of projects in the state.
This will be Oshiomole’s last budget presentation as Governor of Edo State as his tenure expires in 2016.
