The Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) has given assurances to South-East part of the country that the agency will do all it can to ensure they capitalize on the dry season to address issues of dilapidated roads.
Rufus Onimisi, South-East Zonal Coordinator of FERMA, disclosed this over the weekend after an inspection of some federal roads that are on rehabilitation, failed portion of the Owerri-Onitsha road as well as the erosion affected part of the Owerri-Umuahia road.
He appealed to commuters and citizens to be patient during the ongoing road rehabilitation, while promising that the Agency will ensure that a large part of the failed roads in the south-east would be attended to especially during the holiday season.
