Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has retired 14 Permanent Secretaries, many of them appointed by former Governor Chibuike Amaechi.
A statement signed by Simeon Nwakaudu, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic media said “the Governor approved the compulsory retirement of 14 Permanent Secretaries from the Rivers State Civil Service.”
The affected Permanent Secretaries are Ms. Kadilo-Brown, Sir. Somieari L. Isaac-Harry, Barr. Michael M. West, Mrs. Iragunima Comfort M., Collins Davidson, Barr. (Mrs) Otonyetarie I. Okorie and Nuka Nadum Nwikpasi.
Others include Asoelu Gayamos Ogo, Dr. Mrs. Jumbo Justina A., Kingsley F. Hart, Austin Orlu-Orlu, Sir. Samuel J. Egbe, Sam Woka and Ngozi Yagba Abu.
Their retirement takes immediate effect.
