Prestige Assurance Plc has announced Hassan Musa Usman as the new chairman of the company. He takes over from Gopalan Srinivasan. The appointment takes effect from the 14th of October, 2015.
Hassan Musa Usman graduated with a BA, in Economics (2:1) from the University of Sussex, and an M.Phil. in Development Economics from Darwin College, University of Cambridge. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also a Registered US National Association of Securities Dealers Series 7 Investment Banking Representative.
Usman has a career spanning over 20 years in the finance and investment advisory as well as Privatisation services covering various sectors and global regions. He recently retired as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Aso Savings and Loans Plc after serving his tenure of ten years. Prior to becoming the Managing Director of Aso Savings and Loans Plc he was the Executive Director (investment) Abuja Investment and Property Development Company Ltd.
