  • As part of efforts to expand its scope of production and enhance product quality, Vitapur Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of Vitafoam has acquired a new sandwich polyurethane panel, as well as concluded arrangements to commission two fabricated buildings in Oyo state.
  • According to the firm, newly acquired equipment is expected to increase the company’s production capacity, enhance product quality, open a new vista of an array of innovative products in line with the global best practices and boost its profitability.
  • Speaking at the commissioning ceremony in Lagos, Supervising Director, Vitapur Nigeria Limited, Abbagana Abatcha described the equipment as one of the best things that has happened to Vitapur Nigeria Limited in recent time.
  • According to him, the new European manufactured panel could be used for prefabricated structure such as cold room, equipment shelter, wall cladding, quick shelter deployment, office partitioning and shopping malls, noting that in line with its customer-focused approach, the company offers free professional advice to its clients.
  • “The new sandwich polyurethane panel has capacity to produce a length of 14 .7 millimeter with varying thickness of 40 to 150 millimeter. Besides, the panel can produce width in the range of 100 to 1200 millimeter. Its installed capacity is 1350 square meter in addition to the initial production capacity of 300 square meters, thus bringing the total capacity to 1650 square meter”, he explained.
  • Vitafoam Nigeria Plc’s former Chairman, Samuel Bolarinde however commended the board, management and staffs of Vitapur on the acquisition of the new equipment.
  • Vitapur’s Head, Sales and Marketing, Yemi Mofikoya explained that the new equipment is being used to produce sandwich polyurethane panels for walls, ceillings, roofs and floors application with an additional offering of a fire-rated product, adding that the same production line can be used as insulation board (ISOboard) production.
