Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL), has announced the appointment of Mr Monday A. Ovuede to the position of the director, NNPC/CNL JV.
In a statement, the General Manager, Policy, Government and Public Affairs of Chevron, Deji Haastrup  explained that Ovuede replaced Mr Supo Shadiya who recently retired from the company after 32 years of meritorious service to CNL and Chevron Corporation.
Ovuede, who received his Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Benin, Nigeria, in 1986, has since resumed work in his new position.
He joined the company in 1997 as a senior petroleum engineer and has held numerous technical and management positions of increasing responsibility in Nigeria and the United States in the course of his career.
These include reservoir engineering advisor; Agbami Project director; general manager, Marine Services Group for Chevron Shipping Company, and vice president, Organisational Capability for Chevron Corporation.
