The NSEASI inched higher today, advancing by 0.05% to pare YtD return to -11.66%. Volume and value of transactions declined by -25.25% and -0.07% accordingly during the day’s trading session, to peg market breadth pegged at 1.04 in favour of the advancers as 26 stocks gained against 25 decliners.
INTBREW led the gainers chart with a return of +5.24%, followed by UBN, PORTPAINT, NAHCO and UPL which recorded respective gains of 4.95%, 4.95%, 4.85%, and 4.76%. On the converse, the stocks on the decliners’ chart in descending order of losses included; WEMABANK, CHAMPION, AIRSERVICE, MANSARD and CONTINSURE with price declines of 5.05%, 4.81%, 4.74%, 4.67% and 4.29% respectively.
