Zenith Bank issued a press release on February 3rd that it was set to hold a board meeting February 5th, where it planned to deliberate on the Audited Accounts of the Bank for the year ended December 31, 2014.
Well, it is almost three weeks since the meeting was held and we have still not seen the result. Typically, Banks send the annual reports to the Central Bank for approval so that perhaps may be the reason for the delay.
Nevertheless, one wonders how long it takes to approve results that have already been audited and approved by the board of directors (assuming it was approved).
Zenith Bank shares closed at N18.75 and has gained 6.5% this week and 7.1% in the last one month.
