- Chams Plc. notified The Nigerian Stock Exchange of some changes in the Management of the Company.
- The founding Managing Director, Sir Ademola Aladekomo, who has served the Company in this capacity for 30 years would be retiring effective 18 September 2015 and the Board has approved the appointments of:
- 1. Mr. Olufemi Williams as Managing Director. Mr. Williams is currently the Deputy Managing Director of Chams Plc and has been in this capacity from 1990 to date.
- 2. Mr. Lukman Balogun as Deputy Managing Director. Mr. Balogun is currently the Managing Director of CardCentre Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of Chams Plc.
- 3. Mrs. Christiana Mayowa Olaniyan as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
- Chams had over N2.8billion in negative retained reserves stemming from years of losses.
- It turned profitability in 2013 after posting N118million.
- Its latest results (9months to September 2014) shows profits rose to N86million
