Ecobank Transnational Incorporated receives USD 200,000,000 Senior Unsecured Loan Facility
Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, ETI, the Lome-based parent company of the Ecobank Group, has announced the receipt of a one-year, senior unsecured loan facility of USD 200,000,000 from Deutsche Bank AG.
On the 17th November 2014, Ecobank appointed Deutsche Bank to be the Initial Mandated Lead Arranger, Bookrunner and Facility Agent to arrange this financing. On Tuesday 9th December 2014, Deutsche Bank AG successfully closed primary syndication with an oversubscribed order book of USD 230,000,000. The final size of the facility was maintained at USD 200,000,000. This transaction reflects Deutsche Bank’s strong distribution platform and rapid execution capabilities in challenging market conditions.
The facility will be used for general corporate purposes.
