Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Senator Bala Mohammed, has stated that the FCT Administration attracted N1.8tr (about $11bn) worth of private capital investments since April 2010 when he assumed office.
According to him, the areas of investment inflow include infrastructure provision through land swap, city centre, railway, housing development, commerce, hotel and tourism.
Speaking while hosting a cross section of FCT residents to a luncheon at his residence in Abuja on Monday, Mohammed explained that his administration has been able to expand the frontiers of development in FCT through accelerated infrastructure provision.
He cited the ultra-modern Abuja International Airport Express Road and the Zuba-Kubwa highway constructed by his administration as examples of his efforts to open up the FCT and its satellite towns.
