Caverton hasn’t been on my radar for sometimes but it showed up today after it closed the day as the most traded stock in terms of volume. About 100m units shipped out compared to just under 274k a day before. In fact the highest in the last one week was 441k.The stocks 30 day average trading volume is just around 1.7million making today’s trade somewhat notable.
Anyone know what the movement was about? Is it a market maker’s transaction or is it two large fund or private equity exchanging trade? Would be nice to know.
The share price closed 4% higher at N6.69
