Dangote Cement Plc has released its 2013 FY audited accounts showing a 30% rise in revenue to N386billion (2012: N298billion). Operating profit at the end of the year was N194billion compared to N142billion posted in 2012 representing a 36.6% increase. Pre-tax profits at the end of the year also rose 40% to N190billion (2012:N135.6billion).
Profit after tax at the end of the year was N201billion (2012: N145billion) as the company enjoyed a whopping tax credit of N10.4billion during the year.
