Is ABC Transport Company on a slippery slide to Financial Oblivion?

Well, it appears ABC Transport is leveraging on the improved road networks in Nigeria as Vanguard reports it has acquired 10 new buses making it 19 new coaches this year alone. According to the report;

The total number expected by ABC Transport is 24 luxury coaches. The final batch of 5 coaches is due for delivery in Nigeria before the end of the 3rd quarter, prior to the peak operations in December. The current brand of ABC coaches is equipped with surveillance monitoring camera for security purposes on-board and with speed limiters for speed controls.

ABC has also commenced online ticketing which I mentioned in the blog a few weeks ago. Another good piece of information I got was that ABC Transport has as it customers for its Haulage group the following;

ABC Transport Plc is Nigeria’s leading coach operator and the only road transport operator quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. It also provides cargo services nationwide as well as haulage services for WAPCO-afarge,UNICEM, Nestle Waters, GZ Industries and Beta Glass, besides running third party warehousing and City Transit Inn, a budget hotel in Utako, Abuja

ABC is in our Portfolio and is held for the medium to long term.
