Earnings Analysis: Cadbury Plc Post Strong H1 Results As PBT Rises 123% To N3.5billion

[upme_private]Cadbury Plc (Cadbury:NL) released its 2013 H1 results with revenues rising 8.3% t0 N17.4billion (2012 H1: N16billion). Operating profit also rose 171% to N2.7billion as Gross Profit margins improved and operating expenses dipped this period compared to the year before. This also helped push Pre-tax profits to N3.5billion compared to N1.6billion in 2012 H1.

The company also had strong working capital of N8.9billion backed up by a comfortable N16.8billion in the bank. Debt to equity is also very low as the company only has about N1.5billion in current debts.
