Beta Glass Plc released its 2012 FY results with revenues rising just 1.6% to N12.9billion. Rising cost of raw materials will push Gross profit lower to N3.1billion (2011: N3.4billion). Operating profit also dropped 16% to N1.8billion from N2.2billion posted in 2011.
Profit after tax also dropped 25% to N1.3billion as the impact of finance cost following the increase in loans begins to be felt. The company posted an earnings per share of 2.66kobo (2011: 3.55 kobo)
