The Lagos State Government has confirmed the opening of the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge for Wednesday 29th of May 2013. The bridge is touted as the first of its kind ‘Cable Stayed bridge’ in West Africa. There is yet to be a confirmation of how much the toll will cost as people opine it will be between N500 or N1000.
The bridge was completed last year but has seen its opening held back due to legal ramifications.
